Engagement Photoshoot & Advice

Lynsey and David | Engagement photoshoot | Creswell Crags

During the summer, I had the pleasure of meeting another lovely couple – Lynsey and David, who we first met at Tying the Nott wedding festival in the Spring. When deciding a location, there was only one place for them – Creswell Crags. After finishing university it was the place David started his career as the curator, showing visitors around the ancient caves in the then wooden shed – it’s since had an amazing new building and had lots of developments (some of David’s legacy!)! We love it when a venue means something to our couples and, it meant I was given free a guided tour – win win!!

Emma and Rocky’s engagement photo session

We recently had the pleasure of meeting with Emma and Rocky ahead of their wedding in the beautiful Donnington Park Farmhouse.

We met for a coffee at Wollaton Hall first to discuss the plans for their ceremony which will be taking place in September of next year. We loved hearing their story and getting to know them and their wedding plans.

Tracie and Craig’s engagement photoshoot

From the sounds of it they loved it too “Our pre-wedding photo shoot was way more fun than I anticipated and we both felt super comfortable – the pictures are great!”

Chloe and Craig (and the kids!) engagement & family photography session

As the autumn leaves were still on the trees, and the colours were still looking stunning, we were really excited to meet Chloe and Craig (and of course their gorgeous kids, Spencer and Frazer) at Elvaston Castle in Derbyshire for their pre-wedding photography session. These meet-ups are always great, we get together with a couple for the first time, talk through their plans for their wedding and do a quick photography session, all before they book or commit to using us for their wedding.
