Yoga in the Magnificent Spiegel Tent | Nottingham photographer

I've been working with Cassie Salter from SUP Yoga & Fitness UK for a little while now on some exciting video and photography projects. She is always looking to do yoga in new, exciting places and this morning was no exception, at the Magnificent Spiegel Tent in Nottingham's Old Market Square.

I went along to snap Cassie's early morning session which was hosted by Parklives Nottingham (a great initiative, check it out)

In Dutch, spiegeltent literally means ‘mirror tent’ and they were originally built in Belgium in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The Magnificent Spiegeltent tours Europe hosting a variety of cultural events. It is made of dark wood with intricately carved panels, stained glass windows, bevelled mirrors and an impressive draped ceiling. There is boothed seating lining the edge of the grand dance floor. Perfect for dancing... and yoga! What a wonderful venue. I may just have to go along to one of the other exciting events being hosted there over the next week!
