Claire & Tony’s Wedding | June 2022

Ever since becoming a wedding photographer in Nottingham I’ve always wanted to photograph a wedding at Wollaton Hall – this year I was lucky enough to photograph my first and, at Claire & Tony’s, my second wedding there. And this one was a beaut!

They started the day at Trent Vineyard Church which was another first for me. Not the first wedding by any means but it was the first big, open industrial building, very dark and somewhat challengingly lit church wedding. Thankfully, as wedding photographers, we’ve learned to love a challenge!

After some teas and coffees there & a confetti shot that happened to take place in the only 10-minute slot of the day where the skies seemed to open, Claire and Tony headed off in the beautiful vintage car to Wollaton.

One of the really amazing things about getting married at Wollaton is that you’re allowed to go on the roof for photos which was every bit as spectacular as I’d hoped and we actually ended up going up again at sunset – because why wouldn’t you?

Their meal & speeches took place in the grand hall, which was stunning, and then they had a fab band who really got the party started – it was one of those weddings where I was a little sad to leave the party!

“We would highly recommend Dave Fuller! He is such a fantastic photographer and super easy to work with. He is very good at responding to emails and made the process so easy for us. We really enjoyed getting to know Dave and spending time with him at our engagement shoot and on our wedding day. Dave made our guests and us feel at ease and got truly wonderful photos we will treasure forever.

Dave’s use of colour, angles and light is brilliant and he takes both candid natural shots as well as group photos beautifully.

You would be making a great decision if you chose Dave to be your wedding photographer!”
