Where are you based and how far do you travel?
“I’m based in Hucknall, and I travel all over the East Midlands.”
How would you describe your business in three words?
“Deliciously, unique cake!”
What inspires you in your business?
“The couples I work with inspire me. I love to hear their story and put a little bit of their personality into the cakes I create. I love it when couples come for a tasting and want to go home with more cake, it’s always a good sign!”
On average, how much do couples spend with you?
“This depends on what type of cake people want – semi naked cakes are quite popular which on average are around £250. If people are wanting a fondant covered cake with more personal decoration, then the average is about £300-£600 depending on design.”
What makes your business special?
“Again, my clients make my business special! Without them I wouldn’t be able to do the creative, slightly quirky designs I love to make. I love that all of clients are unique, meaning every single cake is unique, be it the flavours or design.”
