Ellie & Edward’s Wedding | July 2022
Ellie & Edward are very much our kind of people – relaxed, fun and always up for a laugh – so from pretty early on in our pre-wedding chat I knew we were going to get along. Their wedding perfectly reflected their personalities and they really made it their own. Even after a venue closure and having to find a new one they made it an awesome day.
They had the lovely Kick Ass Gatherings, a celebrant also known as Louise, leading their outdoor ceremony at Stone Sidings Wedding Barn and it really told the story of them and how they met in a fun and upbeat way. They also had their dog Spud as one of their witnesses (leaving his pawprint) and sealed a bottle of wine along with lovely messages from their guests into a crate to open on their first wedding anniversary.
After the ceremony, everyone found some shade and cool drink (it was super hot) and then there were garden games, Spud running around without a care in the world (stealing parts from the garden games) and it was all very chilled out.
They then had a delicious sit-down meal (they sat us with the guests which is really lovely and really makes us feel like one of the guests!), hilarious speeches and then the party kicked off. The band really got the dancefloor pumping and we really didn’t want to leave as the dance floor was pumping!
“5 stars isn’t enough. Dave and Amy are not only fabulous at their jobs but they’re wonderful people too. Right from booking Dave was always in contact and made everything run smoothly. On the day they blended right in and made us feel so at ease. To be honest we barely even noticed them snapping away, they blended in amazingly and our guests have asked whether they were long-time friends of ours!!
We have got so many photos back and they’re all amazing capturing the day and our friends and family perfectly. We added the video package onto ours and boy was it worth it. We haven’t stopped watching it since receiving it.”
