Weddings with Dave Fuller Photography
Relaxed, fun, beautiful
Having got married in 2015, we understand how much love, care and attention goes into planning a wedding and we absolutely love creating photos that will serve as a lasting memory of your special day. Once the wedding cake has been eaten, your Dad has been scooped off the dance floor and the flowers have faded your photographs will stay with you forever.
Your photography journey starts before your wedding day begins. We like to meet with each couple twice before the big day, the first an introduction to find out your initial plans and discuss the right package for you. The second closer to your wedding day to talk through the finer details, this will help us with picking the right time to do your portrait shots and make sure we don't miss any important parts of the day that you want to be captured!
Either of these points is an ideal time to do your engagement shoot (if you want one). It's main purpose is to get you comfortable in front of the camera, but will also give you a smaller set of images you can use on your wedding invitations or wedding website. It's also just nice to have some professional photographs of you in something other than your wedding outfit. If you don't want one, that's OK too! It's there if you want it.
Dave takes a relaxed, fun and friendly approach to weddings, he will photograph those perfect moments without interfering with your enjoyment of the day. He’ll focus on recording all of the emotion and magical moments between the happy couple and their friends and family. In addition, he will also help to set up any group shots you may want and take a short time out with just the two of you for those all-important portrait shots.
After the wedding your images will be carefully selected and edited. Once this is complete, you will be able to view them all on a personal online gallery. You will also receive a beautifully crafted wooden presentation box containing a small selection of the best prints plus a USB stick with all your photos (without watermarks) ready to be printed or shared on social media. We also have a range of gorgeous albums to select from if you would like us to create them for you.

Frequently asked questions.
How do we book?
Simply fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page and we will get back to you as soon as possible!
How much are your packages?
We believe in being totally upfront about our prices. We know some photographers ask you to enquire, but we know you want to know how much things cost before you go any further so to find out which package is the one for you simply click on our wedding prices link below to download our pricing sheet. We have a three-tier wedding package system based on hours of coverage, because we know everybody’s wedding is different and one size doesn’t fit all. Our prices start from £695 and we've frozen our 2018 prices for 2019.
What if it rains!?!
We’ll keep shooting, if you are relaxed about it then we are too! Hopefully it will reassure you to know that it rained a little on our wedding day and that didn't disturb the festivities or the photographs. We also have an umbrella that has 'wedding' written all over it (well not literally, but it is white).
What time do you arrive for the bride or groom preparations?
That really depends upon whether you want one or both of you to be included in the wedding preparations and how far away from each other you will be. This is something we can discuss in more detail when we meet, but a general rule is that an hour and a half prior to the ceremony is sufficient time to cover the bridal prep. Very few people want to be photographed just as they have rolled out of bed!
How many photos do we get?
During a full day of photography Dave will take well over a thousand photographs (over 3,000 at our last wedding!) and once these are edited and the best ones are handpicked you will be provided with around 400 - 500 images.
What if we don’t want lots of group photographs?
No problem! We know everybody is different and has a different idea of a perfect wedding so we tailor our service to meet your needs. If you don’t want any formal group pictures we will have even more time to photograph your friends and family enjoying themselves during the reception.
what if we do want lots of group photographs?
If you do want group shoots that’s wonderful too. We adapt our service to ensure you get the shots you are after and will help you plan out the group shots so they don’t take too long and you can enjoy the day.
What if I don’t like my photograph being taken?
Dave: I'll handle this one. I can totally sympathise with anyone who feels this way. Despite being a photographer myself I also felt uneasy going into our engagement shoot! I keep everything relaxed, fun and as un-posed as possible, just like my family shoots. Keeping everything relaxed brings out the best in people who aren't used to having their photo taken and, from my point of view, results in the best images anyway.
Amy and Dave | 22nd April 2017 "I usually hate having my photo taken so my biggest concern during wedding planning was having a stranger hanging around taking photos and interrupting all those special moments with their camera. Let alone missing out on the prosecco to have hours of formal shots. Dave was so discreet and professional which meant he captured our favourite moments of the day perfectly- people laughing, hugging, playing games and dancing.
Does the price include VAT?
Yes, VAT is included in all the packages and prints.
Do you carry spare equipment?
Yes, Dave always carries a back up camera and a range of camera equipment. Should there ever be a technical fault he will always have a system to fall back on.
What professional insurance do you have?
We carry full Public Liability Insurance.
How long until we see our photos?
We endeavour to have your images edited and ready within two to four weeks. We have heard horror stories of couples waiting for months and we understand how excited you will be to see your photos, so work hard to make them perfect as soon as we can!
Can our photos be put on the web?
Absolutely, we love seeing our work on the internet being appreciated and the photos are yours to share! We will also write a personal blog post about your day with a few taster shots that we share on our blog, as well as the Dave Fuller Photography Facebook and Instagram pages.
Can friends and family buy images?
Absolutely, spread the love! You can share your password-protected, personal online gallery with anyone you like and there is the option to buy a range of prints and wall art from here.
How does the album process work?
All you need to do is select your favourite images and the cover/finish for your album, then simply sit back and relax whilst it is being created. Alternatively, you can leave it up to us, we can select the images for you and tell the story of your day, from start to finish.
What if we want printed copies of our photos?
We are passionate about our high quality printing service, we absolutely love seeing stunning framed pieces of art displayed on our clients walls and would love to offer you this service. Not all photographers offer this service and some ask you to pay more to access your pictures at a later date. With Dave Fuller Photography however you will be presented with all your pictures in a USB presentation box (including full printing rights for personal use).
