About Me (and why I love photographing pets)
I’m Dave — a Nottingham-based photographer, dog lover, and big fan of muddy paws and silly expressions.
You’ll usually find me wandering through the woods with my camera in one hand and a pocket full of dog treats in the other. I’ve photographed energetic pups mid-zoomie, sleepy pouches in their favourite spot on the sofa, and even the odd chicken and guinea pig— and I honestly love it all.
My photography style is relaxed, natural and all about real personality. No posing. No stressful studio sessions. Just your pet being their wonderful, weird, loveable self.
Since becoming a dad, I’ve realised more than ever how important it is to capture those little moments — the ones that tell the story of someone’s life. I want Sophie to grow up with photos that show her personality, her adventures, and the relationships that shaped her — pets included!

Outside of photography, I love being outdoors — surfing, paddleboarding, running, cruising around on my skateboard, and exploring the countryside whenever I can. These days, most of that involves my daughter Sophie in tow, and I can’t wait to share more adventures with her as she grows.
I’m also a bit of a tea geek. I’ve currently got over 20 flavours from Bird & Blend (and counting). One for every mood and editing session!
Before I became a photographer, I worked as a primary school teacher — so I come with a lot of patience, a calm approach, and a love for getting to know personalities (whether they’re kids or pets!). It’s why I really enjoy photographing animals — every session is different, and every pet brings their own little bit of magic.
About Amy
I am loving being a wedding photographer. I particularly enjoy meeting so many different couples and seeing them in their element on their wedding day.
I love being on (and in) the water. Be it lake, river or sea, water is my happy place. Locally, my favourite spot is Colwick Park for messing around on my paddle board.
My perfect day is spending a day out on the water with great friends before curling up in front of Gogglebox.
I love a good garden centre and will easily spend far too much money on plants. Oops!
My must-see Christmas film is Elf (I have never seen Die Hard so I couldn’t possibly comment on whether it’s a Christmas film or not).
