About me:

Hey, I’m Dave. I’ve been shooting families in a light-hearted, fun way in Nottingham and Derby for over ten years.

My love of family photography grew through photographing my own extended family, and more recently my daughter Sophie. I have worked with children as a primary school teacher for over 10 years. I loved the working with children part of being a teacher, but love photography so much, much more!

Since becoming a dad, I’ve realised more than ever the importance of recording those little moments so we can show Sophie her story of growing up.

Like me, my photography style is laid back and relaxed. I’ll chat and have fun with the kids, get stuck into play, and encourage everyone to have fun whilst capturing the fun and adorable moments as I go.

Outside of photography, I enjoy surfing, paddleboarding, running, cruising around on my skateboard and exploring the countryside. I love spending lots of time with my daughter, Sophie and can’t wait to introduce her to all these things.

I’m a bit of a tea geek. My current favourites are from Bird & Blend, and I have over 20 flavours (not enough, in my opinion).

Before my photographer days, I was a primary school teacher, so I come fully versed in ‘kid’ and love working with them, which is perfect for photographing families with little ones!

About Amy

I am loving being a wedding photographer. I particularly enjoy meeting so many different couples and seeing them in their element on their wedding day.

I love being on (and in) the water. Be it lake, river or sea, water is my happy place. Locally, my favourite spot is Colwick Park for messing around on my paddle board.

My perfect day is spending a day out on the water with great friends before curling up in front of Gogglebox.

I love a good garden centre and will easily spend far too much money on plants. Oops!

My must-see Christmas film is Elf (I have never seen Die Hard so I couldn’t possibly comment on whether it’s a Christmas film or not).
