Raichelle & Michaels wedding was our first post-covid wedding and it was simply the best way to get back into the swing of things! They were due to get married way back in April 2020, just a couple of weeks into the first lockdown, and then after delaying for a full year (which felt like more than enough time for this to be over at the time!) they were unlucky enough to have to postpone by another couple of weeks to allow their wedding to go ahead with more than 6 people in attendance.
On a lovely summer’s day last August, Emma and Rocky finally got married at one of my favourite Nottinghamshire wedding venues, Donington Park Farmhouse. Like so many others they had to postpone their 2020 wedding and so were very excited to finally be able to tie the knot!
Sarah and Alex planned a stunning wedding that involved four separate venues that are literally a stone’s throw from each other. Sarah got ready at her parents’ house which was next to the church and opposite the village hall where the reception was held, Alex met some of his side of the family and friends at the put which was about four or five doors down from the church – okay, that might have been quite a long stone’s throw!
Last November, Amy and I were lucky enough to photograph the beautiful Harriet & Josh’s stunning winter wedding. It was a blustery and a touch damp day, but that didn’t stop these two celebrating in style. They had a touching barn ceremony in that amazing barn, followed by a relaxed evening and of course a party with an awesome DJ to end the night!
When it comes to planning your wedding, anything goes! It is your wedding and you should do it your way, thankfully, gone are the days when you had to get married in a church, the bride has to wear white and there was a long list of traditions that simply had to be followed. So if you and your partner are gamers, why not base your wedding around your love for gaming (as well as for each other!)
Last summer, the lovely Lynsey and Ozzie finally got married at Willow Marsh Farm, a stunning barn venue in the heart of the Nottinghamshire countryside. Having got engaged way back in 2018 in Milan, we first met them at Tying the Nott wedding fair in 2019 and a global pandemic and some rescheduling later, they chose a stunning day to get married!

Introducing the lovely Chloe & Robbie aka. Mr And Mrs McKane! It was our second wedding of an El Scorchio weekend in July, and whilst it’s always fun to shoot a wedding of someone you know, it was really special to photograph my younger cousin, Chloe, marrying Robbie in the beautiful woodland of Pitt Hall…
Katy and Richard dreamt of a small, colourful garden wedding and, as you can see in the first photo, they certainly made that dream come true. They were married in their local church, just a stone’s throw from their house, and then celebrated in the most relaxed fashion surrounded by in Katy’s parents’ garden. I…
