Sarah & Alex’s Wedding | October 2021

Sarah and Alex planned a stunning wedding that involved four separate venues that are literally a stone’s throw from each other. Sarah got ready at her parents’ house which was next to the church and opposite the village hall where the reception was held, Alex met some of his side of the family and friends at the put which was about four or five doors down from the church – okay, that might have been quite a long stone’s throw!

They picked an absolutely beautiful autumnal day and it was just as chilled out as they are as a couple. I arrived with Sarah as she was having the last few touches of her make-up done and then getting into her dress – being lovingly supervised by one of the cats (and mum helped a bit as well!). Shortly afterwards we headed over to the church, which they had beautifully decorated with fairy lights, where they had a really lovely ceremony surrounded by friends and family. Afterwards, we made the most of the late afternoon sunshine for a bubble tunnel (like a confetti tunnel but a bit different!) and some group photos before we were treated to a double rainbow.

We snuck away for a few couples shots down by the River Soar and then over to the village hall so the party could begin! With delicious Indian food, great tunes and breakdancing kid what’s not to love?! Check it all out in the photos below.
