Jess & Emma’s Wedding | April 2022

Jess’ plans to ask Emma to marry her were constantly cancelled or delayed by Covid until they went for a walk around the old American Adventure site (Emma didn’t believe there was once a theme park in Ilkeston). After arriving home, Ernie (their dog) was sent into the living room with a bandanna reading “Will you marry me?” After a moment of confused reading, Emma realised what was going on as Jess whipped out the ring – after the shock she finally said yes!

A couple of years later they finally tied the nott at the lovely Weddings on Pudding Pie Hill in the Derbyshire countryside.

After a lovely service, they celebrated with a shot in the bar downstairs! It was then a very relaxed afternoon enjoying the sunshine in the garden followed by a delicious hog roast and really touching speeches. Then the DJ got things started then we were lucky enough to witness some pretty epic kid dancing and then with a few more shots (!) the dance floor was pumping.

Dave was totally accommodating to every need we had during the planning of our wedding and actually capturing the day! He reassured us with regular meeting points and guided us in areas we may have been unsure of. We also had Amy as a second photographer at our wedding they both delivered on everything we asked for and couldn’t have asked for more!
