So, it’s been a couple of months since Charlotte and Dave’s wedding and so I’ve had a chance to recover! It was a wonderful wedding, but quite an eventful one as a photographer. Here is the untold behind the scenes story!
Note: before I start, don’t get me wrong the wedding itself was beautiful and none of what I’m talking about here affected the couple, guests or the photos (other than providing a few laughs and a fair amount of amusement – more on that shortly!)
Back in April, we had the pleasure of photographing the lovely Charlotte and David’s wedding in Liverpool. They married in the gorgeous All Hallows Church, Allerton and they held their reception at the beautiful Palm House, in Sefton Park, a simply stunning venue for a wedding.
During the summer, I had the pleasure of meeting another lovely couple – Lynsey and David, who we first met at Tying the Nott wedding festival in the Spring. When deciding a location, there was only one place for them – Creswell Crags. After finishing university it was the place David started his career as the curator, showing visitors around the ancient caves in the then wooden shed – it’s since had an amazing new building and had lots of developments (some of David’s legacy!)! We love it when a venue means something to our couples and, it meant I was given free a guided tour – win win!!
We recently had the pleasure of meeting with Linda and Andrew ahead of their wedding lovely outdoor wedding in a beautiful garden at Linda’s parents house.
We met for a coffee at Wollaton Hall first to discuss the plans for their ceremony which will be taking place in May of next year. We loved hearing their story and getting to know them and their wedding plans.
We recently had the pleasure of meeting with Emma and Rocky ahead of their wedding in the beautiful Donnington Park Farmhouse.
We met for a coffee at Wollaton Hall first to discuss the plans for their ceremony which will be taking place in September of next year. We loved hearing their story and getting to know them and their wedding plans.
